Hong Kong Workers' Health Centre has been serving the community for promoting the occupational health and safety since 1984. We also provide community and occupational rehabilitation service for workers with work injury in Hong Kong & Mainland China. We are now inviting enthusiastic and committed individual to join us to Protect Workers Health.

Job Vacancies:

1. Occupational Health Promotion Officer

Requirements:

  • Academic requirement
  • a) Degree holder or above in Public Health / Occupational Health and Safety / Health Education / Health Studies or Science related major.
  • b) Higher Diploma or above in Occupational Health & Safety / Health Sciences / Health Studies or related disciplines with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Applicant with less experience will be considered as Assistant Officer.
  • Work experience in NGO or providing health promotion trainings will be an advantage.
  • Mature, motivated with outgoing character, multi-tasked and be a good team player.
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua is preferable.
  • Proficiency in computer software application, including MS Office, SPSS and Chinese word processing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and provide occupational health & safety (OHS) trainings and education promotion activities to frontline employees and general public.
  • To deliver OHS consultancy service for organizations in Hong Kong.
  • To assist in project coordination.
  • To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

2. Social Worker/ Rehabilitation Officer

Requirements:

  • Registered Social Worker/ Rehabilitation Counselor/ Degree holder in Counselling or Psychology
  • Minimum 1 year of case work experience is an advantage, preferable in rehabilitation field.
  • Mature, highly motivated, able to work independently and to handle multi-tasks.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be a rehabilitation case manager in assessing the needs of workers with work injury, to provide psychosocial intervention to facilitate their disability adjustment and return to work and community.
  • To provide retraining services and placement support to workers with work injury.
  • To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
